Islamic Relief is holding two fundraising events in south Wales for the victims of the Pakistan floods.

A dinner and charity auction is being held at Newport Centre on Saturday night with a similar, larger event at Cardiff City Hall on Sunday.

Both events include a witness account from Habib Malik, Scottish director of the charity.

Islamic Relief is working with the UK Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to provide aid.

Fatehullah Tahir said the dinners were the first in Wales to raise money for the Pakistan flood victims and followed similar fundraising events.

Amazon launches cheaper wireless network

The Kindle has been outselling the Apple iPad since the month of April says the sellers.The present i pad includes a multimedia tablet which has e-reader functions.

Most of the Americans do not have faith in Obama

Around 60% of voters from America feel that they don’t have faith in president Obama. A public opinion poll was conducted over the faith over the president Obama.The report of the opinion poll was being published on Tuesday.

The results seem to be opposite of what voters said during the starting of Obama’s presidency. The previous result which was conducted 18 months ago by Washington post. The result showed that about 60% had faith in the decision making of Obama. At present the poll is showing the low confidence and the number seems to be higher than the lawmakers.

The countries future depends upon Obama’s decision and about just some believe from the 58% polls taken. The problems of housing industries,low job growth and other economic issues may be the reason of Obama’s rating. Many citizens about 43% and some from Democrats agree with the Obama’s economy. The survey which was conducted even found the anti-incumbent sentiment of voters which was about 62%. The survey was being conducted during July 7 to 11 and the poll had 1,288 people.

If children are in their late teens, then they can plan various social service activities like collecting old newspapers, old clothes, shoes, accessories, books, toys etc and donate them to children orphanages.

They can do these tasks much more systematically and interestingly they can make use of portable banner stands and colorful banners. They can also put up some rough tents to make it more exciting and professional.

While doing all this, it is necessary to have parental supervision on these activities. Parents or elders should give them guidance and observation. They should monitor the children activities.

For example, if they have a tournament in their games or martial arts, they can provide them martial arts DVD or books on them, if parents are not self skilled in those areas. Their mutual support can bring in confidence in their kids in performing well and taking failures in the right way.
