The first South African president,Nelson Mandela completed his 92 years on Sunday. The world is proud of having a legend like Nelson Mandela,so planned to celebrate his Birthday. To honor Mandela who turned 92 years the world celebrated the first international day.

Many people around the world from ordinary people to leaders have come to a commitment. The commitment is to devote 67 minutes of time towards community service. This commitment is to mark the number of years Mandela has spent towards politics. United States last year announced Mandela’s birthday as “Nelson Mandela International Day”.

The African leader is spending his time with his family at his home situated at Johannesburg. Many people are waiting outside the house to get a glimpse of the iconic leader. Many handmade greeting cards,gifts,flowers and birthday messages have decorated the outside of Nelson Mandela’s house. As the security is tight people are waiting outside at least to handover the gifts to family members of Mandela.
