The coalition of government has raised the varsities fees in Britain. Many local and international students are facing the high tuition fees due to this reason. The new governments are in plan of hiking the fees for higher education and university management studies. The hike of the tuition fees is expected to start from home and then the raise in academic fees will be seen. At present the current fees of EU student fees comes up to euro.3, 225 for a year.

The rates of the tuition fees is expected to get more than what they are paying at present .Many students have taken loans for their studies and need to completely pay back within a period. The loans for these students are given at a low rate of interest and are subsidized by the tax payers in Britain. The students start replacing their loan when they start earning their own income. The loans are paid back when the students start earning a salary of Euro 15,000 for a year. The rate of interest of these students is less than the governments cost of borrowing the money.

The managements and universities of Britain are asking for a realistic hike in fees. The universities include the Russell group of universities which has some top 20 universities under it. The fees raise may be anywhere in-between Euro 7,000 and Euro 9000 for a year. The raise in the fees would be a burden for the taxpayer and that needs to be tackled said the university minister David Willets. Overseas students in universities of Britain contribute Euro 4,000 billion a year fees. The number of seats in the university will be increased can be expected.
