Celebrating the divorce of the spouse with parties

When we think of divorce we usually think of the pain associated with it. People of Japan are ready to face it by doing a celebration ceremony which they call it “I DO “parties. The number of divorces in Japan has gradually increased; in 2008 there was some 251,000 divorces. The divorce ceremony is celebrated similar to a happy marriage in front of family and friends. The ceremony for divorce was first designed by a salesman named Hiroki Terai .Hiroki designed divorce parties in Tokyo and set up a divorce mansion for the celebration.

The cost of a divorce ceremony is about $606 in the divorce mansion hall and the couples are coming up. There were about 25 couples who came to the divorce mansion and celebrated their divorcés. The couples who wanted to put a end for their marriage want to start fresh and forget their past. The divorce mansion is situated near the Sensoji temple in Tokyo was many couples have started coming. The procedures of the ceremony involve coming together and smash the wedding ring.

The wedding ring is smashed with a gavel, as the end of the relationship between the couples. The gavel which is used to smash the ring has a frogs head, frogs in Japan symbolizes change. The frog in Japanese culture means a change, a renewal in the life of the couples who divorce. Celebrating a separation is a new trend especially in front of friends and relations. The celebrations in front of friends and relatives have made couples feel happy about the end of the relation. End of sad marriages celebrated with happiness in Japan.
