27 Jun 2010Whether your hands say your future or not, but your finger tip temperature tells whether you will get heart disease or not. The fingertip of a person can say whether he will have cardiovascular diseases or not. The researchers of university of Houston studied about the temperature on the fingertips and relation. A device named VENDYS which was designed by mechanical professors was used for the study.
VENDYS was designed by mechanical professors whose names were Stanley Kleis and Ralph Metcalfe. The device helps doctors to know the minor changes in the blood flow of a person. The change in blood flow of a person affects the temperature of the person which can be found. The temperature of the person can be measured in his fingertip of the person and know the change in temperature. The temperature when measured with VENDYS device can help you know whether the person is prone to cardiovascular diseases (CVD).
The device helps in real understanding of physics using the mathematical model which is designed. The main discovery of the device is due to the biomedical engineering literature. A risk assessment of CVD can be measured by using this wonderful instrument VENDYS.VENDYS is more accurate, easy usable and detects the CVD easily in earlier stages itself says Metcalfe. The study is still going on, of how a particular room temperature is affecting the device.
