Listening to iPod can damage your hearing

Today’s world everyone loves to hear music in their busy schedule, while on bus, train or plane. Everyone has a small device which just fits your little pocket and battery lasting I pod .The scientists are saying listening to I pod or a MP3 can spoil your hearing. An hour of listening to I pod or MP3 can irreparable damage for your hearing say scientist. The scientists who researched about hearing effects due to I pod were the scientists from Europe. The scientists claim that listening to headphones music for an hour can have a temporary hearing effect.

The listening of I pod can damage the hair cells and outer ears of the people who have the habit. The volunteers for the study were asked to hear the rock music for six hours separated by some sessions. The participants were given two different kinds of head phones which had preset volumes in them. The report of I pod hearing can damage your ears news appeared in the daily telegraphs. After each session the scientists measured the hear responses of the volunteers. The volunteers who participated in the session study were in the age group of 19 to 28.

The scientists tested by making the volunteers hear some sounds of different frequencies. The participants heard the frequencies after their session was completed and had to say how they heard the new tone. The scientist had even created a separate group of 14 people of the same ages to compare with the volunteers. At last the scientists concluded that hearing I pod or MP3 had negative effects of hearing.
